GYC Student Council member Shannon Arnic has a lot to smile about. She was honored recently with 13 awards from North Avenue Elementary. Along with awards for excellence in everything from math to citizenship, she recieved the coveted Principal's Award from Mrs. Menking for being the Outstanding Female Student for the 2000 - 2001 school year.

She will be attending the seventh grade at Gonzales Junior High School in the fall.

Former GYC member and Summer Workforce Center employee Joe Alford sharing his experience of accepting Christ into his life and the difference it has made. We welcome all sort of inspirational programs to inhance our childrens lives. The students listened intently and we are very proud of Joe for speaking to the group.
